The Select Contact link displays the Select Contact page. Use the Select Contact page to search for contact information in the Address Book. You can perform two types of search: anchored and non-anchored. By default, searches in the Address Book are anchored on the first letter for each field. If you would rather not anchor searches (such as when looking for a value that might appear in the middle of an address book field), you may do so by selecting Non-anchored. Searches are limited to searching for the primary key field. If, for example the email address is the primary key, then the search is for email address. If last name is the primary key, then the search is on the email address. Consequently, if the primary key is email address and you want to perform a non-anchored search for someone you believe works for the Widget Company, but you are not sure of the spelling of "Widget", you might click the "Non-anchored" radio button and then enter "get" in the text field. This would result in a list of contacts, all of which have "get" in the primary field regardless of the location of that string in the field. You might wind up with a set of contacts who work for the Widget Company as well as contacts with the name "ron.gettysburg" in their email address, and so on.
If a search is performed and a match or multiple matches are found, they are displayed as a list. Clicking on a contact in the list displays the Create Issue page, with the selected contact entered in the Contact Information section.
